Not Much?

While no part of the government is perfect, the Minnesota judiciary seems to be in good shape. In fact, we have taken some cues from the Minnesota judiciary for The Minnesota Plan. Minnesota has a mandatory retirement age for its judges that we intend to expand to all elected officials, and while we are advocating a multi-part system for most parts of the government, we believe that the state courts should remain non-partisan. While undoubtedly there might end up being some minor changes once we get to passing legislation, at this time, we don’t advocate any changes to the state judiciary.
